Berlin – Demonstration at Brandenburger Tor

I’m not a big fan of public demonstrations. I think it has to do with my skepticism for their effectivity mixed with a fair dose of claustrophobia that I’ve suffered from since early childhood, probably stemming from being frequently smothered with a pillow by my older brother, but that’s a conversation for my therapist. But sometimes you simply stumble into things, as was the case last weekend by the Brandenburg Gate. A friend texted to let us know that a demonstration was going on at the Victory Column, so we hopped on the U-Bahn just to check it out.
